    Keith Richards Added To The Memphis Music Hall Of Fame Line-Up

    Memphis, TN … The star-studded line-up continues to grow for the Saturday, October 17 Memphis Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at The Cannon Center in downtown Memphis. Keith Richards, iconic guitarist and member of supergroup The Rolling Stones is now scheduled to appear to pay tribute to rock guitar pioneer Scotty Moore. Steve Cropper, guitarist and former member of Booker T. and the MGs, will join famed drummers Jim Keltner and Steve Jordan in tribute to inductee Al Jackson, Jr. Also, scheduled to perform will be Grammy®-winning R&B artist, Melanie Fiona.

     

    The line-up has also expanded to include Tracy Nelson, blues vocalist and lead singer for Mother Earth, honoring Hall of Fame inductee Memphis Slim. Former Hall of Fame inductee, DJ Paul, Academy Award®-winning member of Three 6 Mafia, is also expected to attend. Charlie Rich’s son, musician Charlie Rich, Jr. will honor his father in song. Other additions are anticipated.

    The Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum administers the annual Memphis Music Hall of Fame announcement and induction, in cooperation with Memphis’ many music organizations and attractions. This year’s inductees bring the Hall of Fame roster to 54. The Memphis Music Hall of Fame museum is now located at 126 Beale Street between the Hard Rock Café and Lansky Clothiers.
